Image data may be observed via the ergonomic OLED viewfinder, but can be relayed via its USB or RS232 interface. In combination with the InfraTec IRBIS® 3 remote software package a complete remote operation of all device functions is possible.

If a maximum range performance is required then Nyxus Bird LR with its 2 km detection range for persons is the first choice. With a weight of just 1.5 kg, (10 × 7)° field-of-view and a 5 km detection range Nyxus Bird is a powerful and mobile alternative. The standard laser rangefinder in both units is a valuable tool for precise distance measurements up to 5 km.
